Not Sure Which
Injectable Is Right for You?
You do not need to know the name of a product before scheduling a consultation. Many patients come to us knowing what they would like to improve but are unsure which treatment will provide the most appropriate result.
Injectables generally fall into three categories:
Wrinkle Relaxers
Wrinkle relaxers such as Dysport and Xeomin soften lines caused by repeated facial movement.
Dermal Fillers and Collagen-Stimulating Injectables
Dermal fillers and collagen-stimulating injectables restore support, improve facial balance, or address age-related volume loss.
Regenerative Injectables
Regenerative injectables such as EZ Gel, PRF, and PRP use components from your own blood to support gradual skin renewal.
We will explain the differences and help you make an informed decision based on your anatomy, preferences, treatment history, and desired timeline.

Dysport® and Xeomin®
Dysport and Xeomin are wrinkle-relaxing injectables used to soften lines caused by repeated facial expressions. They are commonly considered for concerns such as frown lines, forehead lines, and crow’s feet.
Both treatments work by temporarily reducing activity in selected facial muscles. This allows the skin above those muscles to appear smoother while preserving a natural range of expression when the treatment is planned carefully.
Although Dysport and Xeomin work in similar ways, they are not identical products. Your treatment history, facial movement, goals, and personal preferences can all influence which option may be recommended.
During your consultation, we will discuss the areas that concern you, explain what each product can realistically accomplish, and create a treatment plan designed to help you look rested rather than overtreated.

Dermal Fillers
Dermal fillers are used to restore volume, refine facial proportions, and enhance selected features. Depending on your needs, filler may be considered for areas such as the lips, cheeks, chin, jawline, or folds around the mouth.
The goal is not simply to add volume. Successful filler treatment considers how each feature relates to the rest of the face. Small, carefully placed amounts can often create a more balanced result than treating one area in isolation.
During your consultation, we will discuss what you would like to change, assess the treatment area, and explain whether filler is the most appropriate option. We will also review expected results, recovery considerations, and whether a staged treatment plan may provide a more natural outcome.
Specific treatment areas and filler products should be confirmed during your consultation.

Sculptra® and Radiesse®
Sculptra and Radiesse are injectable treatments that can improve facial support while encouraging collagen production. They may be considered for patients experiencing volume loss, reduced definition, or other age-related changes.
Sculptra is generally used for gradual improvement. Rather than creating an immediate change in the same way as a traditional filler, it works over time by supporting the body’s collagen-building process.
Radiesse can provide more immediate structural support in appropriate treatment areas while also encouraging collagen production. It may be considered when greater definition or support is desired.
The best option depends on the treatment area, your anatomy, the type of change you would like to see, and how quickly you want results to develop. Some patients may benefit from one product, while others may be better suited to a combination or a different injectable altogether.

EZ Gel and PRF
EZ Gel and platelet-rich fibrin, commonly called PRF, are regenerative injectable options created using components collected from your own blood.
After a blood draw, the sample is processed to concentrate platelets, fibrin, and growth factors. The resulting material may then be used in selected areas to support gradual skin renewal or provide subtle volume.
EZ Gel and PRF may appeal to patients who prefer an autologous treatment, meaning the injectable material comes from their own body. These treatments work differently from wrinkle relaxers and traditional dermal fillers, so they should not be viewed as direct substitutes for Dysport, Xeomin, or every type of filler.
Results generally develop gradually and vary depending on the treatment area, preparation method, and individual response. During your consultation, we will explain what the treatment may accomplish and whether it aligns with your goals.

PRP Facial Rejuvenation
Platelet-rich plasma, or PRP, is another regenerative treatment that uses a concentrated portion of your own blood. It may be used to support collagen production and improve the appearance of overall skin quality over time.
PRP is often considered by patients who are more interested in gradual skin renewal than immediate facial contouring. Depending on your goals, it may be used as a standalone treatment or incorporated into a broader skin rejuvenation plan.
Because PRP works differently from dermal fillers and wrinkle relaxers, your consultation will include a discussion of what it can realistically address, how the treatment is performed, and whether another option may be more appropriate.
