The best candidates for Morpheus8 are usually patients in their 30’s, 40’s, and 50’s who have only mild to moderate skin laxity. And in some cases, getting Morpheus8 at a younger age may actually keep you from needing future surgery. So for certain patients, it is a good preventative investment.

Older patients with more severe skin sagging and wrinkling may not see as much of a benefit from Morpheus8 treatment, or may need a surgical procedure as well to achieve their desired look. It just depends on the individual patient’s genetics and lifestyle factors. Some patients in their 60’s and 70’s are still great candidates for Morpheus8, while some in their 40’s and 50’s would be better served by a surgical procedure or another therapy. For patients who have already had surgery, Morpheus8 can extend the benefits of that procedure.

Though this varies depending on the area, intensity of treatment, and individual treatment plan, most patients can resume their normal activities within 24-48 hours. Your provider will give you more personalized specifications at the consultation. There is little to no discomfort after M8 treatment, although some redness, small bumps or dots,  bruising and/or itchiness in the treatment area(s) is possible and may last up to 3 weeks or more. For best results, we recommend keeping the treated areas moisturized with Aquaphor Healing Ointment or Vaseline until the skin has fully healed.

Normally 3-5 sessions area needed. These are spaced about 4-6 weeks apart. Your skin will continue to change for 3 months after each treatment session. When stacking treatments 4-6 weeks apart, you will continue to see your body remodel for 6-12 months.
