What is the recovery like when you receive dermal fillers?
Typically, dermal fillers have little to no recovery time. After your appointment, you're free to go back to work and resume your most of your daily activities right away. However, you need to be careful for 24 to 48 hours to allow time for the fillers to settle in properly. You will probably have some swelling for 1-2 days but can last up to a week when lip filler is used. Ice application and staying elevate can greatly decrease any swelling or bruising. Your provider will instruction you on individual care needed prior to your departure.
